PROJECT MANAGER
The PROJECT MANAGER position will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work within a team environment while controlling overall construction project performance.
  • Manage construction accounting systems while controlling profitability, estimating and budgeting.
  • Cultivate long standing relationships with clients, owners, landlords, architects and subcontractors
  • Communicate openly to others within the company as well as other construction professionals.
  • Problem solve when project, owner, company issues arise. Do what it takes to accomplish the tasks.
  • Understand and enforce company safety rules and procedures.
  • Able to multi-task, attend in office and field meetings, delivering reports timely, submittals, owner billings, cost reports, estimating.
  • Candidates must have the following qualifications
  • Related CONSTRUCTION experience in commercial and multi-family projects.
  • Must be enthusiastic and professional.
  • Experienced in construction management and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of principles of project management for building construction; theory, principles and practices of engineering and architecture related to design and construction.
  • Self-starter willing to assume responsibility for their work and that of their teammates.
PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT

The PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
  • Professionally represent the company with clients, owners or landlord contacts.
  • Proactively solve problems with hands-on approach.
  • Assists in the development of project proposals, cost estimates and budgets, timelines and schedules.
  • Prepares reports for Project Managers on status of all services provided for specific projects.
  • Assists in the coordination of all personnel: vendors, contractors, etc., necessary to complete the project.
  • Understand and enforce company safety rules and procedures, maintaining records and logs, filing, writing contracts, participating in subcontractor and owner meetings, preparation and delivery of close out and owner’s manuals.

To qualify for the position of PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT you MUST have the following abilities:

  • Understanding of technology as required (use of cell phones, digital cameras, email and computer proficient, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and organize and prioritize work.
  • Must be enthusiastic and professional.
  • Superior communication and organization development skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast pace environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Must have minimum 5 years experience within the Construction Industry.
SUPERINTEDENT
The SUPERINTEDENT position will have the following responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage retail, and Tenant Improvement projects.
  • Maintain daily job site records.
  • Professionally represent the company with clients, owners or landlord contacts.
  • Understand and enforce company safety rules and procedures.
  • Execute job schedule completion.
  • Communicate with management staff, and execute tasks in the field.
  • Proactively solve problems with hands-on approach.
  • Ability to professionally manage the building department and inspections to achieve project needs.
  • Experience with general rough and finish carpentry.

To qualify for the position of SUPERINTENDENT you MUST have the following abilities:

  • Ability to proficiently read blueprints and specifications.
  • Understanding of subcontractor responsibilities and sequences (i.e. plumbing, mechanical, and electrical, etc.)
  • Understanding of technology as required onsite (use of cell phones, digital cameras, email and computer proficient, etc.)
  • Must be enthusiastic and professional.
  • Proven track record of running successful projects. (Provide a project list and reference)
  • Current life safety and CPR certifications required.
  • Critical path method scheduling (M.S. Project preferred).
  • Must have minimum 5 years experience
ESTIMATOR
To qualify for the position of ESTIMATOR you MUST have the following abilities:

  • Creative thinker; thrives on details
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills
  • Communicate clearly to subs and owners
  • Adaptable to unique challenges of each project
  • Able to handle stressful situations on a daily basis
  • Analytic in approach to bid documents and bid day prep

Daily tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize and post bid documents and bid day requirements
  • Solicit subcontractors for bids
  • Analyze plans and specs in order to establish subcontractor scopes
  • Communicate inconsistencies in the bid documents to subs, owners, and architects
  • Write scope sheets and qualify subcontractor bids
  • Submit complete bid package on bid date and time

Technical Requirements:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Planswift, Onscreen Takeoff or similar
  • Bid document distribution systems such as Smartbid or Gradebeam
  • General computer usage i.e.: FTP sites, Dropbox, etc.
